Im back...

Hi! Im back from that Adam khoo camp... Well, it's really fun there, we played a lot of games, n were taught many useful things. Btw, this post is real long, so... be prepared.



1st day



(Oh! The trainers r Adam, Leroy n Amin) Actually, i was really nervous and reluctant to go to the camp, but soon i found it quite fun.... Firstly, Adam gave us a speech n then we broke up into our grps.... We did some grp work n..... actually not much lah. In the afternoon, it was Amin turn to give a speech....... Well, Amin was a humourous guy. On that day, he did sth very very funny, i dun wish to post wad is it, but in sch i will tell more abt it. Then we had dinner. At night, it was Leroy's turn. He tried to act fierce, but soon.... he was oso very funny. ( Amin's pet phrase is chicken nugget n Leroy's pet phrase is Siao)







2nd day






well, i was a little bit late, only a little bit. The camp started at 8:00am, n i arrived at 8:20am... See, it isnt too late rite? Kidding lah... i reached there at 8:05am. When i reached there, all my grp members were thre already... my coaches were teaching them the things for the test... Btw, my coaches r Justin n Joyce. We will oso hv a test everyday except for Day 1. At 10plus, we had the test. We were given like 40 min to do the test... it was a little tough lah. N the passing mark or the test is 70% instead of 50%. In the afternoon, the test results were out. The highest score was...........111/120. Good rite? But for me, i failed of course... i got 54.92%. So sad... Oh! There were some rules like u cannot say

Well, if any1 said the "banned" word, he/she hv to do 5 up downs ( the one when u put ur right hand on ur left ear n ur left hande on ur right ear) or during Amin's class, either the chiwawa, monster or hamster...... go back to sch then demonstrate to u all. But there's this saying "One for all, all for one". So, if any of ur grp member say the "banned" word, the whole grp muz do the "punishment". In the afternoon, was like the crying day. Almost ever1 cried when they heard wad Adam said... Well, actually i cried a little too. Again, i wont really want to say wad is it coz it will take the whole day to write it. Haha, in sch then tell. N them MOST exciting part!!! Ever1 of us had to go on this "swinging log". But..... it wasn't really swinging, it was juz the coaches kicking the log n they would ask u some questions like,"When life is shaking, wad shld u do?" "study or play?" "Family or friends?" But firstly, u hv to tell them ur goal. Then when u r on the log, there's this big poster on the ohter end saying" Focus on your outcome" n there was this red dot where u r suppose to focus on. When u r on the log, they will start asking u questions n they will kick the log. But when the log is nt swinging, u juz take one step forward. At first when i saw it, it was quite scary... but... nvm, at the later part of teh post i will write abt it.








3rd day





Todae i wasn't late, neither was i early... i was juz in time. As usual, the coaches had to revise wif us for the test questions...At 10 plus, we took our test. This time the test was not so difficlut. It was ok. n luckily i passed!!! I got 74%. haha, i waz quite happy.


In the afternoon, Grp 1-5 went down first for the swinging log, while grp 6-10 went down after grp 1-5 for the swinging log (Btw, im in grp 6). But on that day, i did not volunteer myself to go on the swinging log, so i hv to w8 for the next day. I saw a lot of people falling off the log, n the coaches were like quite fierce, it was so SCARY!!!


At night, we took turns to go on the swinging log, but i didnt voulnteer to go on the swinging log lah... Later it was Amin's class. I can't really remember wad we did, but i could remember we doing 120 up downs for some reason.... Later we were asked to speed read. amin gave us 60sec to read the whole thing but the last person finish reading was like much much longer than the given time. So again, we had to do a lot of up downs, like 100 over. So sad, all of us were so tired.



4th day



A brand new day!!!!! N i was not late, i was on time :). In the morning, we revised for the test n at 10, we went for the test....... The test score is 477!!! Bcoz of the vocab which is 350 marks!!!! Ah, i dun noe how to do the vocab............ i only did 2 or three. In the afternoon, the test resluts were out. Guess wad! Only 8 people pass..... N there was abt 68 people. Yah, i did not pass. Leroy was quite mad lah..... N we were asked if any1 of us wants to say anything to ur frend, whether u r angry, hurt, disappointed or love/care, appreciate, afraid. At first when Leroy asked, no 1 volunteer, but then later he asked the coaches, three coaches volunteer.... n dats when teh scolding n crying part began!!! First, Coach Ben went up, followed by Programme director Joey n Coach Hafiza. Sigh................ i bet every1 muz be feeling very down.

Well, at night is the best of the best!!!!! Y? Coz we played two games, first is the vocab game. We hv to memorise the vocab. Then, each grp will be given some cards, n we would hv to find the meaning or word from the other grps. But if u r not careful, the coaches can snatch ur cards.We can oso ask the coaches for the card u want, but u muz "convince" them or praise them. I remembered dat i went up to one coach for the card n i had to praise the coach........... HAHA!!!! Guess wad i said... its very "disgusting". Nvm, in sch then say, not now. The second game is "Who's hot". Each grp has to send up 3 people to go up n dance. Of course, i then dun want to go up lah....... our grp sent 3 boys to dance..... n guess wad!!!!! The way they dance............u r gonna laugh like siao. But there was this indian boy who can dance like Michael Jackson, the way he walk.....n this gal who can dance super well. her body very flexible. My grp went into the finals but they did not won. the Indian boy's grp won. At the last part, it was the coaches turn to dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So funny...... n lastly, the best part!!!!! Amin suddenly pop in n ever1 force him to dance wif Leroy. LOL. Imagine two guy dancing together.There was once the music was "romantic", so Amin n Leroy had to dance together, holding hands, the way they dance........ super funny. In sch i demonstrate how they dance.

5th day

So sad.....last day. Haha, i was early!!! First time being early.... abt 7:53am i reached there. Once again, the coaches revised wif us, n then we played some games...after dat, we sat for our test. After the test, those who hv not finish the swinging log muz stay back to complete the swinging log.... At least this time i volunteered myself to gon the swinging log.
~My experience on the swinging log~
When i was on the swinging log, my legs were trembling. I was pretty scared. I fell down two times b4 i was at the centre. The coaches were like distracting u, n Leroy oso distracted me. He took a bamboo stick n use some tap to stick a cup on it. Then he drew a smilely face n decorated it.Then when i was on the swinging log, he put the cup infront of me n said,"Hello, im Mr cup. Nice to meet u." n so on........ But luckily, i did not get distracted. Actually, at the beginning, it was quite scary, but then it was getting easier n easier. I had this wonderful feeling when i completed the swinging log.:)
After completing the swinging log, i went up n join the others for speed reading. Again, we had to do 100> up downs or chiwawa or hamster or monster coz the last person who finished reading was far far longer then the time given. ( Btw, go back to sch then demonstrate how to do the Chiwawa, monster n hamster, i can't demo it here) B4 we went for lunch, all of us had to take a piece of paper n write ur name on it. Then we hv to use some tap to stick the paper on our backs. We r suppose to go around n ask others to write a message for u or either ur frends write a message for u. But we r only allowed to write positive things, not negative things. For me, i did ask many people to write on the paper. my paper was flooded wif messages.
~Lunch time~
Well, it was our last time eating lunch together. So all of us were to do Yum Same (i dun noe how to spell it). We picked up our drinks n YUM SAME three times. Phew! Alomst all of us were so thirsty after doing the thing.
After lunch, we went back n got prepared for Adam's lesson. he taught us many many many things, but sry i cant share it here coz it will take days to finish writing it. Oh!!!! N once, Adam took out a $10 note and asked," Who wants $10?" Ever1 raised their hands n said ME ME ME!!! But then Adam kept on asking, "Who wants $10?". Then a few people went up n snatch the $10 note. finally, a boy got the $10 note FOR FREE!!!!!!!!! The lesson is "If u want to succeed, u muz take action".
~8 plus~
At 8 plus, it was time for the closing ceremony..... parents will be present. Firstly, Adam will give an opening speech n then it was time to break the karate board. It was so fun. But firstly, we muz write down our fears n bad habits on it. Actually, it was quite easy lah....... Oh yah! At first Adam demo to us how to break the board....... the way he demonstrate was so funny.

Actually, time passes so fast! 5 days juz past so quickly. sigh... i really miss the camp so much so much!!! N i began to like english songs more n more when i went for the camp, bcoz whenever we r doing our work, they would play songs..... kiddy songs n nice songs. They pplayed kiddy songs like Elmo's world, powerpuff girls n spongebob squarepants. Nice songs like tokyo drift, sweet escapre, girlfriend, smack that, put your hands up in the air n many other nice songs, juz dat i dun noe who is the song called.

Every1 pls stay tune for more things abt this camp... i've not finish posting everthing yet. But i gotta go coz my bro pestering me... so remember!!!!! BB!!!
