Don't judge others

You have been forewarned: This post is gonna be a wordy post with no pictures.

I tend to judge people based on my first impression of them. I mean, I know A LOT people do so too. And that's why we have so many problems in this society. WE JUDGE PEOPLE EVEN THOUGH WE DON'T EVEN KNOW THEM WELL. Like me, I judge people based on how they look...if they appear nice/friendly/grumpy/unfriendly etc etc. I also tend to judge people based on what I hear from others about that person. If someone tells me that so-and-so is a bitchy person, i'll keep this impression of him/her and maybe even avoid that person...or even worse, spread these rumours that this person is blah blah blah to others WHEN I DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT PERSON WELL. I admit, I've judged a lot of people based on my first impression. And it always (fine...most of the time, not always) turns out, that my first impression is WRONG. Just this year, I thought that a few of my new classmates were unfriendly/competitive/annoying etc, just based on my few encounters with them. But when I got to know them better, they actually turned out to be really nice people. On the other hand, there were some people whom I thought were nice, but it turned out, they are just some hypocrites who appear nice but BLEHHHH.
That's why, lesson learnt: Never judge a book by its cover (ok i think this applies here). Don't judge others. Because that's being very unfair to the other party.
