.: Graces Day 1

Finally got all the photos up!

Day 1:

Before we set off....407 <3

The morning/afternoon sessions were all just workshops. Communication skills workshop in the morning & makeup workshop in the afternoon by Za. (i absolutely love Za) Thankfully the makeup workshop made up for everything.. the 3 hours passed really fast.

Night -- Malay Extravaganza Dinner
We had guests from ZhengHua Sec and Evergreen Sec so we had to be on our BEST behavior ;) And since it's called Malay Extravaganza Dinner, we had to eat with our hands~

Firstly, I must thank Estelle once again for her tribal costume!!! And also, many thanks to Rou Jing who helped us all with our makeup. Or else we will all just look like ghosts really.

Everyone looked gorgeous I swear, I mean really really really gorgeous (I can't find an apt word for this!!) Most people came in sari & cheongsam....and me in my tribal costume (let's just call it a mongolian costume since that's what everyone thinks it is). I was stopped twice by teachers who got pretty fascinated with my tribal costume and wanted to know where I got it from (hahaha thanks estelle once again!)

So, once you enter and step on the red carpet, your friends will just swarm you to take photos LOL. in the end i got separated from Dee, RJ & Cheryl.

This is why I always try to avoid standing too close to Hua Xian. Or at least make sure she is sitting and you're standing when you take a photo with her. Or else I'll just look like a complete dwarf.

I absolutely love Miyeon's hanbok. She really looks like a Korean here (oh wait she is a korean haha)

Finally reunited with them! Then Jia was nowhere to be seen that night cos she's in the Malay Special Programme and had to help out~~

After the guests left, we all had to proceed to d' tent to dance. YES DANCE.

But I was definitely not in the mood to dance...so I went around taking pictures again. YES.

At 9++ we went back to chalet. We got a lot a lot a lot a lot of stares from curious members of the public when we walked back from D'marquee to chalet (you know the distance between Watsons to chalet). I mean imagine 400+ girls in their ethnic costumes walking down the walkway #likeaboss
